THE EDITOR OFFICE INTERIOR

Working in an fashion editorial office already has a certain charm, but what if that charm were enchanced by the design? That's exactly what I did in this project. I transfored a standard office space into a contemporary and chic space. Each working desk has its own design lamp, there's a real UK phone box, and a beautiful oval table for meetings or client encounters. In short, a pleasant and ambient workplace.

HASSELT, BELGIUM

REVITALIZATION OF TWO BUILDINGS IN THE MAIN SHOPPING STREET

Project proposal for the revitalization of two retail properties with six residential units on the Demerstraat in Hasselt. To enhance the value of these two buidlings, I designed a completely new facade. The design is entirely in keeping with the original style of Hasselt's older buildings. For this, I studied numerous facades throughout the city. This revitalization will significantly enhance the properties for both the owners and the city.

NEW YORK, USA, CONCEPT DESIGN

LOFT DESIGN

Step into the metropolitan world in this unique loft design. New York is the city par excellence when it comes to older buildings being transformed into loft apartments. It's unique, it envokes a New York feel, and you have more space than a regular apartment.

In this design I chose to preserve the building's raw edge. The design is almost entirely detached from the original walls, allowing you to fully experience the original atmosphere. The tall restored windows provide ample daylight and views in the loft. The sleeping area, kitchen, and bathroom are also incorporated into the style. I also opted for a relaxed interior with an eye for fashion.

HOTEL DESIGN, AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS

FASHION ART HOTEL ROOM 

To make a holiday more complete, I designed this luxurious hotel room. Fashion meets metropolitan interior design in this room. The design is open and ambient, and has a luxury feel. The open bathroom-space is equipped with a full open oval bathtub, nice and spacious sink and make up table, spacious rain shower that easily has the size measured of 4 people. (just to identify the space) Also, the room has plenty of storage and a minibar. The bed is a kingsize double bed with nice bedside tables with nice glass lamps. As well at the end is where the TV is located. The ceiling is smoothly shaped and designed to let you feel you are in a cozy wooden cabin with a luminated round-shaped artwork. 

The interior design is collected with rich materials and colors. 

Cuernavaca, Mexico, Real Estate Development

A GROUP OF SEMI-DETACHED HOUSES FOR RENT AND SALE

In Mexico, I worked on a series of homes for sale and rental on a development plot of land for a real estate project. The homes feature four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room, and an open-plan kitchen. Besides shared amenities like a swimming pool and bar, each home also has its own hot tub on the rooftop terrace.

Hasselt, Belgium

LIVINGROOM PARTLY RESTYLED

In Hasselt we have adapted a living room with a new layout, colour scheme and some other furniture. We also added an antique station sign. We were exceptionally allowed to receive this from the Belgian Railways NMBS, after which we restored it. The result is that the living room looks comfortable, modern and cozy.

VISIONNAIRE

Retail concept for a customer, who wants to open a beauty shop. Visionnaire is a cosmetic store where you can buy everything for skin and make up. The design of the store has a instant summer feel and is designed in rounded shapes. All the cabinets on the wall are completely build in the wall to give a more luxurious feel with the build-in lightwork. The shop is quite small in size so I planned a presentation table in the middle to create two lanes inside, this gives a circular flow. The ambiance is smooth and warm, which will be enjoyable the whole year.

FAMILY KITCHEN RENOVATION

The heart of every home, the kitchen. This kitchen is the place where food and family time comes together! This kitchen is designed based on a current kitchen that already exist in the house of the client. What I've added is a bigger cooking zone with came with a classic looking extractor hood. I added two windows on each side, which provides more daylight and ambiance in the kitchen. All the built-in appliance is renewed and the cabinets received a makeover as well.  I added ceiling mouldings to envoke more a classic look in the kitchen. The island is restored as well with new panels, new marble top layer and new bar stools and custom-designed chandeliers.

FRONT FACADE RENOVATION DESIGN FOR THREE HOUSES

For a renovation project, I detailed the renovation situation of three family terraced homes in London. This was necessary to give the investor an idea of the final result. Everything was done with the original design preserved and the windows and facade bricks restored.

TEPPANYAKI RESTAURANT 

In the kitchen of the experience, there is always something to taste! In this concept, an Asian experience has been created where tradition goes hand in hand with hip urban effects. There are six islands where you can eat with each other or with a group.

LUXURY HOME INTERIOR DESIGN

This is a home makeover with a new living space and kitchen. The livingroom got a whole new fire place with luminated marble background, and a big built-in TV. As well, on each side I added an open closet space. The kitchen is designed with luxurious materals, such as a marble extractor hood, marble bar and built-in appliances. Due to the limited space in the living room, I decided to extend the kichen into the living room. This is nice for interaction while cooking, to eat or work. The bar has already equipped with power sockets underneath the top layer. The overal look is calm and based in my favorite style: fashion-chic as I call it. Big photo frames with black and white photographs and smooth walls and suddle lighting.

LUXURY CLASSIC BATHROOM

A classic and luxurious bathroom with relaxing options. I opted here for a classic bathtub, double sink and a half closed toilet. The shower is spacious and has plenty of space inside. The walls are equipped with beautiful italian marble. The overall tiling is marble mosaic and on top smooth wallpaper. I added ceiling mouldings arround, and it is pained with gold- metal paint.
